泉原 豊
70年生まれ 京都府出身 松田優作氏にあこがれ、世界で活躍できる俳優をめざして、単身渡豪。
アウーロンゴン大学演劇学科卒業後、2005年「グレート・レイド史上最大の作戦」(Miramax)で、デビュー。
オーストラリアを拠点にハリウッド・メジャー作品に多数出演。2007年以降は日本でも活動を開始する。
Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1970. Aspiring to be an actor who could work internationally, inspired by Yusaku Matsuda, he moved to Australia alone. After graduating from the University of Wollongong with a degree in Theater, he based himself in Australia and appeared in numerous Hollywood major productions. He debuted in 2005 in “The Great Raid” (Miramax). While primarily working in Hollywood films overseas, he has also been active in Japan since 2007.
2017年、「ゴースト・イン・ザ・シェル」(Paramount)では、スカーレット・ヨハンソン、ビートたけし、桃井かおりと共にメインキャラクターを務める。
2023年、「あいの里」(Netflix)では、”ハリウッド”という愛称で、リアリティショーにも挑戦。
初回から、波乱を巻き起こす”熱い”キャラクターとして登場し、Netflixにおいて単日視聴者数世界１位の原動力となる。
In 2017, he played a main character alongside Scarlett Johansson, Takeshi Kitano, and Kaori Momoi in “Ghost in the Shell” (Paramount).
In 2023, he took on the challenge of a reality show, “Ainosato” (Netflix), under the nickname “Hollywood.” Appearing from the first episode as a passionate character who stirred up excitement, he became a driving force behind the show reaching number one in single-day viewership worldwide on Netflix.
表現者として、何処へ向かうのか
松田優作氏がこの世を去って、随分と長い時間が経った。
遺作「BLACK RAIN」で彼が見せた魂の演技に魅せられ、私は表現者として生きることを決意し、走り続けてきました。
その後、技術革新は映画の制作・配給システムを一変させ、インターネットは、かつて遠かったハリウッドを幾分か引き寄せたかもしれません。
しかし、海を越えて活躍する日本人俳優は、決して多くはありません。
表現者としての生き方を選んだからには、もっと広い世界で、新たな景色と、まだ見ぬ自分自身を求め、挑戦し続けたい。
我々は、もっと、もっと遠くへ行けるはずだ。
A considerable amount of time has passed since the passing of Yusaku Matsuda. His captivating performance in his last film, “BLACK RAIN,” inspired my decision to pursue a life in acting, a path I have followed wholeheartedly. Technological shifts have reshaped film production and distribution. The internet has arguably brought Hollywood, once distant, a little closer. Despite this, few Japanese actors consistently work on the international stage. Having chosen this life as a performer, I am compelled to challenge myself in the wider world, seeking new vistas and discovering the person I am yet to become. There is still much, much further We can go.
